Danny is not only famous for his unbelievable performances full of style and individualism within the mountain bike scene – but he is also an inspiration for hundreds of thousands of people worldwide. His unbelievable riding challenges Danny’s physics as well as his equipment which has to suffer a high level of attrition. As everybody knows, that means a lot of puttering on the bikes. Especially because of the extreme degree of exposure on his bike, it is absolutely important for the former bike mechanic to have reliable and robust tools at his disposal.

A partnership with premium bicycle accessory manufacturer Lezyne was actually a self-evident cooperation: “I was working on my bike with just some nasty multi-tools my friend gave me. Because of my formation as bike mechanic I was used to nicer tools and I remembered a Lezyne multi tool, which was top. I checked out some other Lezyne products on the net and thought, it would be cool to approach to that company. I liked their brand image – and more important – knew they made good stuff. So we got in touch and it’s great that we’ve managed to work together”, comments Danny on the deal with Lezyne.

The Adventurer of the Year will be elected for the seventh time in 2011.
